Vienna tram museum. Amazingly well kept old trams, the place is well worth a visit.

Wiener Stadtwerke tram type F no. 746 (SGP Simmering 1964). In service until 1996. Length 19.1 m, weight 21.5 t, power 120 kW. Here coupled in front of the l3 1900.

Originally ordered as 2-axle cars type L4, but before delivery changed into articulated trams with the second half on an unpowered bogie. (Same system of the "Sputnik" trams of Freiburg im Breisgau.) These trams could be extended by a trailer of type l3. Note that the first trams of the much more modern type E had already been delivered in 1959 under Duewag licence, so it's strange that this rather old-fashioned type was still built in the 1960s.
