TW3 was built in 1909 and was originally a completely wooden vehicle and equipped with only two 49 hp <BR>

motors. Between 1936 and 1940 four 49hp motors were fitted. After TW5 overturned in 1954 and was badly <BR>

damaged all remaining TW’s had new reinforced bodies fitted. The three remaining TW’s continued in <BR>

service on line 6 until 1985. The TW2 & 3, with some technical improvements fitted, are now used for <BR>

nostalgic and special occasions. <P>


Un-laden weight 3.1 Tons 18.2 Tons (18.5t). – Wheel arrangement ‘Bo Bo’. – Power 1200v DC. – <BR>

Motors 4 x 49hp (36.5 kw). - Capacity 30 seated and 30 standing. – Removed from service 1985. Handed <BR>

over to The Tiroler MuseumsBahnen in 1986. - Restored 1986 onwards. <P>
