Am 24. Mai 2011 fuhr der erste Doppelstocktriebzug der Westbahn erstmals aus eigener Kraft in voller sechsteiliger Länge Testfahrten zwischen
Sulgen und Romanshorn in der Schweiz. Die Dachverkleidung ist noch nicht komplett, für
die Testfahrten wurde ein schmales
Stromabnehmerschleifstück aufgebaut. On 2011-05-24 the first doubledeck unit of the Westbahn was doing the first test runs at full length (six cars) and by its own power, doing test runs between Sulgen and Romanshorn in Switzerland.
