The StLB ET2 (line Feldbach - Bad Gleichenberg) is an odd combination
of old and new. It was completely modernized in 1991 (including a new
carbody on the old underframe) and received new bogies with pneumatic
suspension in 1997, but kept some elements such as the old and
indestructible crank from 1930, made by ELIN, a direct controller of
the electric motors for accelerating and electric braking.
