These cars are only approved for 120 km/h, which is enough for the classic GKB lines, but not for the new connection via Wettmannstätten - Werndorf. The GTW units intended for this line however aren't approved for the ÖBB network yet, which is why the trains via the new line are temporarily substituted with doubledeck cars and leave out a few stops.
