Some days of heavy snowfall provided a beautyful winter landscape along the Mariazellerbahn and excessive traffic to a Habsburg wedding in the Mariazell basilica made it necessary to run the morning fast train "Ötscherland" with two engines. For me this day was also special because in the afternoon I had the chance to take my trip back to St.Pölten in the cab of 1099 002-6.

After waiting for a passing train bound for St.Pölten fast train "Ötscherland" is going to leave Kirchberg an der Pielach for Mariazell hauled by two 1099s.
