On this picture the youngest and the oldest electric locomotive of the Mariazellerbahn can be seen: 1099 016-6 passing a train with 1099 001-8 at Kirchberg an der Pielach. Built from 1911 to 1914 and rebuilt around 1960 the 1099s are the world`s oldest electric locomotives still in daily service on the line they were originally built for.
