After overhaul in 2001 this locomotive received a grey frame, like some of them carried around 1960. Only after a few weeks back into service it was heavily damaged in a crash with a truck on the last level crossing before Mariazell. Due to the age of the engine (built 1911, rebuilt with new body in 1960) repair seemed unlikely, but it was seen in the ÖBB workshops at Linz in the last days of May 2002. So there's still hope that it will start into a third live on the Mariazellerbahn, even after more than 90 years of service!
