Wiener Linien type X 3711. Two cars were shown at InnoTrans, in service these will form fixed six-car consists with all middle cars powered. They are prepared for driverless operation. Like type V they are air-conditioned and fully gangwayed; the design isn't particularly spectacular. They will probably go into service during 2023; 34 trains are ordered that will replace the oldest units of type U. InnoTrans, Berlin, September 2022. |

Wiener Linien type X 3711. The driver's console looks rather traditional with analog speedometer and plenty of buttons; this is to preserve commonality within the fleet for drivers. InnoTrans, Berlin, September 2022. |
