Prototype of the new V-trains for the metrolines in Vienna, in regular service on U3 between Ottakring and Simmering, this picture taken in Ottakring. There are some significant differencies to the U-type trains: all six cars are coupled permanently with corridor through the whole train and the end cars with the driver's cabs are just unmotorised steering units.

Wiener Linien mockup for new "V" type underground trains.
Interior; the colours were also used in the series trains,
but the seats with fabric covers were considered not robust
enough, so the actual trains received red plastic seats.
