ÖBB - Austria
A large part of the historic ÖBB collection is now on display at the Heizhaus Strasshof location east of Vienna.
Locomotive 1044.01 was the first with thyristor control for ÖBB. It was rebuilt into test locomotive 1044.501 which ran at 241km/h during tests. It was withdrawn in 2002 and came to Strasshof in 2006.
