Electric unit A-NBIK 94 81 4042 001-9 built 1936 by AEG and Simmering as ET 11.001 for BBÖ. Only two units were built, intended for midrange express trains between Salzburg, Badgastein, Zell am See and Innsbruck. From 1938 it carried the number ET 42 001, in 1953 renumbered to 4042.01 and used on the line Attnang-Puchheim - Salzburg. With new electrification it came from Salzburg to Linz and Wien. The power of 400 kW, speed of 100 km/h and capacity of 72 seats were insufficient for express services, so they were replaced by class 4030 and 4130 and used as regional train around Salzburg until 1966, then sold to Steiermärkische Landesbahnen for the line Peggau - Übelbach which was being re-electrified from 2200 V DC to 15000 V AC. They carried the numbers ET 11 and ET 12. In 1996 they were replaced by Swiss second-hand units and sold to Nostalgiebahnen in Kärnten. The 4042.01 is back in service in the appearance of the early 1960s since 2016 as a museum unit. Guggenbach Pulverwerksiedlung, 2019-08-04.
