ÖBB ordered 126 (up to 186) double-deck KISS units from Stadler, to go into service from 2026, delivery will take at least until 2030. 89 trains will be four-car cityjet units class 4734 (for local/regional trains), 20 more are cityjet with six cars class 4736. Of the 200 km/h version, 14 six-car railjet units and 3 five-car CAT units are ordered.

The unit shown at InnoTrans 2024 consists of: A-ÖBB 94 81 4734 104-4 + A-ÖBB 94 81 7034 304-0 + A-ÖBB 94 81 7034 404-8 + A-ÖBB 94 81 4734 604-3.

One car (404) has a wheelchair zone in the lower deck, the others offer spaces for bicycles and strollers. The upper deck in the end cars is declared as a quiet zone.

The power is 4800 kW for a maximum speed of 160 km/h. Class 4734 offers 318 seats.
