| ÖBB 5144 001-4, one of five cars built 1938 as cab car for BBÖ VT 44 and 1951 rebuilt with motor and transmission of class VT 44, in service until 1991, from 1992 on display at Semmering station. As the paint was in a bad state, it was recently repainted, but not all inscriptions were restored. 2019-10-20. |

Until the electrification (1959) it was used as express train on the Semmering line, later running as local train on branch lines in lower Austria. In 1991 it was replaced by class 5047 and moved to Semmering station next to the Ghega monument. 2026-03-04. |
