ÖBB 2143 009 heads a construction train which prepares the gravel bed of
a newly constructed track on the construction site between Rennweg and
Südbahnhof on the Vienna "Schnellbahnstammstrecke" on 2002-02-20.

All traffic in this area is currently operated in single-track mode on the
track in the foreground, which will soon be moved to the track being prepared.
