Due to the Hungarian entry in the European Union many local trains between Austria and Hungary could be used free of charge on 2004-05-01 and the following day.
Train 4702/9115 (Graz 8:39 - Szombathely 11:21) which normally consists of 5 cars needed to be extended by further 4 cars at Fehring and carried about 500-600 passengers across the border.
Also the train in the other direction (in the morning from Szombathely to Graz, back in the afternoon) was full of Hungarians visiting Graz...
