The Galgenbergtunnel between Leoben and St. Michael was opened in 1998. It replaced the curvy old line which still exists as a bypass in case of maintenance or accidents in the tunnel, but has very few remaining trains. It is currently only used as a single track line, the other track is used to store freight cars which are currently not needed. Here you can see the 21 81 338 0 005-0 Kils, a 2-axle tarpaulin wagon. 2009-03-28.
