To work alongside the high density euroean routes, Trans Polar Rail (a ficticious passenger company operating in Scandinavia and Russia) has taken delivery of several double deck Orbis sets, known as class the class 410. with the adoption of the Orbis, Trans Polar has taken a new numbering scheme for its fleet.

Like the sister class, the double deck orbis sets are powered on all axles, and run at a restricted 380km/h, though the Orbis family is capable of speeds close to 420km/h. Trans Polar only operates the double deck Orbis city shuttle in western europe and Scandinavia. Unlike the TGX and ICX high speed trains, they do not tilt around corners
