Project Aurora Rail is a ficticious carrier, with passenger and several freight contracts. its headquarters is in in mainland Europe, near to the channel tunnel, (this allows operations into the UK via the tunnel), operating 2 main types of locomotives. the 3E2 and the 2E2.

Project Aurora Interfreight is the railfreight arm of Project Aurora, chosing the 3E2 because of the more flexible design of the bogie system as opposed to the Co-Co design used on such locomotives as the "Class 47" used by British Railways carriers such as EWS and Virgin Trains. using three twin axle bogies, (hence 3E2), tighter curves are able to be taken, (I think thats the reason the channel tunnel car and HGV shuttle trains (not the eurostar sets) have adopted the same set up), and still have the same level of traction as Co-Co arranged locomotives.
