Project Aurora Rail is a ficticious carrier, with passenger and several freight contracts. its headquarters is in in mainland Europe, near to the channel tunnel, (this allows operations into the UK via the tunnel), operating 2 main types of locomotives. the 3E2 and the 2E2-0, The 2E2 range is the mainstay of passenger operatons of project Aurora Rail and consists of several subclasses of locomotive.

seen here is 2E2 class 264. derived from Aurora's class 205 phase 2 locomotives have different, developing 3,500 hp, the class 264 is effectively a stretched class 205-1, though minor details are evident on the nose, incliding deeper windscreens. The roof, like the shorter class 205 has 3 large tanks on the roof and a destinctive hump just aft of the lead bogie.

where the class 205 locomotives are used as mixed traffic locomotives, Aurora's class 264 are generally used as a passenger locomotives, usually with Push-Pull stock or Orbis Engineering built passenger stock
