Project Aurora Rail is a ficticious carrier, with passenger and several freight contracts.
its headquarters is in in mainland Europe, near to the channel tunnel, (this allows operations
into the UK via the tunnel), operating 2 main types of locomotives. the 3E2 and the 2E2-0,
The 2E2 range is the mainstay of passenger operatons of project Aurora Rail and consists of
several subclasses of locomotive.
seen here is the class 207 tilting HST powercar, designed as a pure passenger locomotive, the
class 207 is usually coupled to either Talgo designed and built monoaxle stock, or on some occasions,
they get coupled to standard length cars.
The Class 207 came out of the same works as the Trans Polar 2E2-7 HST cars, though minor external
differences are evident, the internal running gear is almost the same, except Aurora's have more power
than the TPR sets. The extra power is becacause of the fact that some of the routes the 207's tackle are in
mountainous areas.
