Project Aurora Rail is a ficticious carrier, with passenger and several freight contracts.
its headquarters is in in mainland Europe, near to the channel tunnel, (this allows operations
into the UK via the tunnel).
Seen here is main high speed train, headed in this case by 2E2 locomotives 206-034 and 206-004,
coupled to a rake of Talgo derived HST stock. Project Aurora uses the shorter Talgo stock in the
United Kingdom and Europe, running via the Channel Tunnel.
The rake consists of the following coaches: 5 first class coaches (yellow Stripe) 1 buffet car
(red stripe) and 9 standard class cars. Unlike the Orbis stock, Project Aurora's Talgo stock has
airline seating throughout, facing away from the restraurant car. Like Orbis coaches, Aurora's Talgo
designed stock comes equipped with head-rest mounted video screens.
Project Aurora's talgo stock is also tilt activated for better higher speed cornering, making for a
more comfortable ride during high speed cornering. With the being mono-axle articulated with short
cars, they are far more adaptable than the longer Orbis and BMPZ stock.
