Project Aurora Rail is a ficticious carrier, with passenger and several freight contracts. its headquarters is in in
mainland Europe, near to the channel tunnel, (this allows operations into the UK via the tunnel), operating 2 main
types of locomotives. the 3E2 and the 2E2-0, The 2E2 range is the mainstay of passenger operatons of project Aurora
Rail.
Seen here is Class a 203 locomotove working the Silk Road Express. The Silk Road is a service designed to rival the
likes of the Venice-Simplon Orient Express, as a result the coaches are of the highest quality, they are also quite
heavy compared to standard BMP-Z coaching stock as used else where by Aurora. The Silk Road service operates between
Europe and China, crossing through Turkey and Russia as it makes its way to Beijing, China.
The Silk Road service consists of a 10-car rake, with no two cars being the same on one train, though some cars may
look identical on the exterior, they are totally different on the inside. Each sleeping car has its own team of 3
attendants.
This particular rake has 4-axle stock, as opposed to the 6-axle stock that is depicted coupled to 205-882. The 4-axle
coaches are lighter, though ride quality is still of a high quality. the fact that there is only 2 axles on each wheelset
as opposed to 3 axles, the cars can take tighter curves.
