Aurora Rail systems UK, part of the Project Aurora group (fantasy), operates a number of locomotive 
and HST sets in the UK on the West Coast Main Line, Midland Main Line and the South Coast lines. <br>

Seen here is a class 284 TGV, derived from the French built TGV Atlantique sets, but with revised powercar 
nose sections, these high speed trains serve the west coast main line sections of Aurora Rail Systems UK's network 
as well as providing a regular shuttle service to Paris and the rest of the Project Aurora network.<br>
<br>
The drive layout of the TGV Aurora is similar in many ways to the Trans Polar Rail HST sets with 4 electrical 
pick ups and the supporting bogie of the end car is a drive bogie.  Seating in the TGV Aurora is very similar to the 
Orbis sets used by Project Aurora in europe, with headrest mounted video screens.  <br>
