Complete set of the Zwolle Kassel Expresse (fantasy)
A creation based on fantasy;and loads of wishfull thinking
My motto is European is not united as long as there is no direct high speed train from Zwolle to Kassel.
2 'grey' and both important railroad crossroads, for middle germany and north Netherland
In this creation a private enterprise bought a second hand BB 68.000 speedtrain engine from the SNCF.
Hired a set of cars from DB AG and set a 4 times daily high speedlink between both cities.
The car set included a bar; the brown cars are the second class, the brown green also , and the orange is first class.
Due tot some not electrified parts on the route and dual voltage, the second hand and reliable engines of the SNCF get modernized to 200 km/h highspeed train engines.
The Route is Zwolle - Deventer - Arnhem - Emmerich - Duisberg - Dusseldorf - Cologne - Kassel (3x)
And once a day: Zwolle - Nijmegen - Kleve - Duisburg - Dortmund - Kassel
Due to succes, the compagny planned also Eindhoven - Zwolle - Groningen - Hamburg, with slighty other trains...
The livery of the train is inspired on autumn colors and an attempt to a nowadays fashionable performance of a late 70's color-sets.
Inspiration can be found in the interieor of the Dutch "koploper"-speedtrains, with heavy usage of brown and orange in slighty other variation.
